Home Appliance Service Plan


In the beginning I felt Sears had great service in repairing my various home appliances. The last 2 years it has been horrible. The worst was having to wait 6 weeks for a repairman for my washer. One repairman started telling me that I should fix the crack in my outdoor sidewalk...really? Now you do cement work too? Too many times I've waited the 4 hour window only to get a call after the 4 hours telling me they are running late. I understand repairs can take longer than expected but a phone call is all it takes and NOT after the 4 hour time slot.

When you call the 'hotline' it is like talking to a robot who reads words off a card, not someone who can help or is very familiar with the English language. I will not be renewing my home service plan with Sears. I will look elsewhere.
