Sears lawn tractor without key or paperwork...wait 7 to 10 days! - Craftsman lawn tractor


Sears delivered a lawn tractor without the manual, paperwork, service repair agreement (that cost several hundred dollars alone) and unbelievably A KEY. So I complained. It will take 7 to 10 days for the key to be shipped!!! There were THREE lawn tractors on the same shipment that did not receive a key or paperwork. When I called customer service the rep called my last name until I told here I was considering returning the mower, then she started calling me Mr. Blah. Customer care is what I expected after not receiving an operating lawn tractor.

You may understand my frustration when the mower would not start because it had a battery that was dead and did not accept a charge. I could deal with that until I tried to call the local Sears in Lufkin and could not reach any sales people and not even the manager. I am not waiting until Monday for a technician to deliver a battery that I gladly would have replace myself if I had gotten a response. The Sears in Lufkin, Texas, is dead, but doesn't realize or care that it is. Yes, I called the manager and tried reaching the hardware department. I got recorded messages and no one called back when I recorded messages that I had a tractor with a dead battery delivered. You have my concern and deepest apologies for a company that does such poor business.
