Absolutely horrible customer service. The salesman was great and took time with us, but everything after that was horrible. Had to continuously call my salesman to find out when the installation was going to occur. They needed to send out an electrician to look at our electrical box, and getting that arranged was impossible. We waited nearly 30 days to get installation, and had to call and call to get anything scheduled. We were told that the delay was because the coordinator was on vacation. We couldn't believe that there wasn't someone else handling her work. The installer called the morning of the installation about the type of electrical box we had so that he knew what type of breakers to purchase, which was shocking because an electrician came out and said that he noted the specific type of breakers we needed. I asked him if he had been told what the Sears electrician had found, and he wasn't even aware an electrician had come out. I was so exasperated with the whole project and told the installers that Sears had dropped the ball on everything after the salesman closed the deal. For over $9000, which I believe is overpriced, we deserved better. I asked the salesman multiple times to have his manager call me so that I could discuss all this with him, and even though he passed this on to his manager I never heard from anyone in management. Appalling customer service. Quick to make the sale. I have been a Sears customer for over 40 years, and have bought probably over $100,000 of products from Sears. Almost all my major appliances, lawn equipment, etc in multiple homes in multiple cities. It is no wonder that Sears is declining if it treats its best customers like this.

I am currently having a similar experience. It took several weeks to have the appointment for the installation set, and that was only after repeatedly contacting the salesperson. Now, less than 2 weeks after the installation, the air conditioner quit on Friday and the installer is 'on vacation'. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved as I have an elderly mother with COPD and severe arthritis living here...am still waiting....
