Broken dryer - Sears elite front loading gas dryer
The service response from sears warranty has been pathetic . we have been without the dryer since calling in for a repair over 30 days ago . It took the technician 10 days to come and diagnose it and order a part which would take another 7 days. Then he came and broke the parts and told us that he wouldn't be able to finish the repair until the replacement part was shipped to Surrey from Calgary. This could been shipped overnight on a priority post if they had any sense of customer satisfaction. They assured us that if we could get it here faster then go for it. I called and Sears parts and asked them to prioritize this as it was the repairman that broke the parts and we were going to be out the use of the dryer unitl they could "fit"us in to their schedule in about two weeks!!! can you believe it. Unfortunately I was marketed to for the SEARS extended repair contracts and have generally been satisfied for many years but this is the LAST TIME we ever buy a SEARS product for our household as their once famous service has gone down the toilet .If a Sears executive in marketing or customer satisfaction would reply to us it would be appreciated but I doubt it will happen. BE CAREFUL WITH THE SEARS WARRANTY REPAIR DEPARTMENT
